1. Information we collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide our services. Phone number — used for OTP-based authentication. Financial data — expenses, income, budgets and goals entered by you. User content — notes and transaction descriptions. App activity — app usage interactions for improving functionality. Device information — basic device identifiers for security and performance.
2. How we use your data
To provide the core app functionality (expense tracking, budgeting, goals). To improve app performance and user experience. To enable secure login and account management.
3. Data storage & security
Your data is securely stored using Supabase. We implement encryption in transit, secure access controls, and industry-standard security practices.
4. Data sharing
Your data is not sold or shared with advertisers. Data is only shared between linked household partners if you enable this. We do not share your data with any third parties except essential infrastructure services required to run the app.
5. No financial access
FINUS does not connect to bank accounts, UPI, or financial institutions. All financial data is manually entered by users.
6. User control & data deletion
You have full control over your data. You can delete your account any time from Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data. You may also contact us for support.
7. Data retention
We retain your data only while your account is active. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems.
8. Children's privacy
FINUS is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Your rights (India DPDP + GDPR aligned)
